Committed quantity during material availability check

Dear Experts,

I have a question regarding committed quantity during material availability check.

For example - There is a finished product A and has B and C components of one one pieces in its BOM. If I create a production order of A of quantity 10 pieces and we have available quantity in stocks for component B is 5 pieces and C having 10 pieces. Now,if I do the material availability check for the production order of finished product.So,it is possible to do setting in SAP that it will take the maximum quantity which can be committed by both of the components automatically.Although C component can commit by 10 pieces but as available quantity of B is 5 pieces so SAP will take 5 pieces of both components.
