Hi Experts,
Need your help on the following scenario we have.
We have a configurable product which has the following characteristics. It has Base UOM as KG and selling unit of measure as PCs. So when a production order is created it is confirming the stock in KG's. How do we consume it in terms of sales order which has PCs.
1. Length
2. Width
3. Thickness
4. Density
In the material master of the configurable product, we are not able provide any conversion factor between KG to PC as the dimensions are not standard. We have created a BOM for this configurable product which has a component to capture variable size characteristics and also the weight of the product.
I have the following issues.
1. Weight is not being transferred to main material and instead it is at BOM component level.
2. How to handle the Sales order UOM in this case.
I have gone through the below thread where similar issue was posted. But I request you to provide detail information on this.
