Got a question on holiday impact on planned order start and finish date. Here is the situation - we got weekly orders with start date = Monday and Finish Date = Friday. We have 5 days of in-house production time, and we are not doing lead time scheduling. its basic date scheduling, and if there is no holidays start date always fall on Monday, and finish date on Friday.
Now lets say Monday is holiday, due to that it is pushing the start date back to previous Friday. We want to keep start and finish date on the same week due to some issues with how raw material requirements are being calculated.
Here is what we want- If monday is holiday, we want to Start orders on Tuesday - Friday or if Friday is holiday we want to Start orders on Monday and finish on Thursday. so basically tying to stay in the same week.
Looking for your help to see if there any standard settings that we can use. Tried with planning calendar and lot sizing procedures etc. but not really worked the way we want. Before I go and try MRP planned order BADI, looking if you can help with any of standard settings that can help us.
