I have searched the forum and the web for this issue about the quota arrangement but the answers I found did not apply to this case.
I also found 2 old notes: 710639 and 730070 which are implemented in our system as our version is a recent one (I also made sure that the lines and instructions actually have been followed)
the scenario is as follows:
we have a quota arrangement for 20% externally procured and 80% in-house production.
we defined the quota for both and we run the MRP.
with MD04, we have the planned orders appear for specific quantity but when we convert the planned orders to production orders, the amount is being subtracted from the allocated quantity!
If I edit after that the converted production order by adding or subtracting the amount to be produced, the allocated quantity in the quota is correctly updated.
Just when converting the planned order, the amount is being subtracted.
any idea why this happens? and how to correct it?
