SOME MATERIALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE MRP JOB RUN

Hi,

 

In our plant X there are 100 materials (of MRP type p3 )for which MRP job run everyday. But recently what we have observed is some materials are not included for the MRP runs for some days because of no indicators(NETCH,NETPH) automatically updated for planning file entry in MD21 for some days this can be because of no demand changes, posting changes, routing changes  etc. for the material.

 

But  what I have observed is  materials are  included in MRP if I would do manual MRP RUN in MD02.

and materials also included if planning file entry is updated with anyone of the indicator in MD20

 

Actual requirement is;

Planned orders which were  created after planning time fence should not be firmed until the user firm manually. So if MRP run is not including these materials for some days the planned orders are coming within the planning time fence so then user have to do manual MRP run md02 to push the planned orders out of planning time fence.

 

As it is difficult to do manual MRP or creating planning file entries every day So how to include the materials in MRP job run for which planning file entry is not updated as there is no demand changes.


kanban tolerance

hi Gurus

I have a problem related to kanban form vendor: when I do GR if the quantity from the vendor is less than the kanban, I have no message and the status pass to full even if is not really full.

 

Is there a way in order to have a message that warning for it?

my concern is why previous days are indicating above table and why calculated material requirement for whole requirement plan?

Planning Type - Planing Start

Dear Gurus,

 

for the planning start option for the planning type i have the following scenario, where looking for hte gurus feedback.

 

1. i am sitting in dec, 2015 and wants to enter the plan in sop from july-2015 to june-2016. (how, if in mc8b i enter the planning start from july, 2015 system give me the required grid, but what happen when i will go in the time period lets say in june 2016 where i wants to enter the plan from july-2017 to june 2018.

 

please advise me at your earlist, its not i think possible to change the mc8b every time for the required result.

 

Looking for the gurus feedback.

in mcb8 i have choose the above characteristics, and same is coming blank as an output in the planning table.

 

when i have posted the sales in sap lets say in month dec, 2015 and when open the version under December, 2015 actual sales is coming blank.

 

how i should call the value here please advise.

 

what customization need to be configure for this.

Disabling Final Issue indicator in component overview

Hi experts,

 

Happy new year in advance...

 

Their is one requirement where in user wants to disable final issue indicator check box in component overview of CO02, so that no one  can manually tick the final issue indicator check box and it should only happen automatically if total consumption is booked or if order is short closed with partial production.

 

How can this be achieved.

Dear Friends,

 

This is my requirement as below.

 

My client maintaine the Room temperature based on Batch shelflife.When the material recived user enter the batch time like 300 hr 200 hr  depends on batch..... Once material stored with batch in the cold room. When ever he wants that materail user will take from that cold room and used some quantity and will be back put into cold room.

 

Once will take the material from cold room some activites done like cuutting ..This process will take 30 min or depends on quantity...So finally this time will reduced from that batch shelflife quantity automatically.

 

Once batch shelf life over remaining quantity will be moved to blocked.

 

Please tell me how to map in the sap.

Scrap Variances and Lot Size Independent Activities

I am working on explaining, in great detail, how scrap variances work to my superiors.

 

I am struggling on understanding how lot size independent activities are allocated into the scrap variance calculations.

 

For example, I have a material with a costing lot size of 110 and a lot size independent activity (machinery setup) of 0.3 hours.  On a particular production order, the planned delivered quantity is 257, the confirmed order delivery is 252 and the actual delivery is 279.  The order header scrap was changed to 12 pieces, forcing the order scrap percentage to 4.62%, resulting in a target scrap of 12.89 pieces.

 

When I pulled the information in KKS2, the amount attributed to the lot size independent activity was 0.015 hours.  I tried to reverse engineer the math behind the result, but nothing seems to make sense.  Does anyone out there know how this works so I can recreate the math?

Dear Team

 

I have upload some new items that have PIR in plant 1 and will be produced in plant 2 , I maintain the special procurment key as other old material have the same case, now when running the MRP only new materials does not have planned orders on plant 2 .

I checked the all material master data nothing missing .Can you suggest what may be the problem ??

PP-CRP Hot Note: Planned orders are not lead time scheduled

You are running MRP on your system with the parameter Scheduling = '2 - lead-time scheduling and capacity planning', as shown on the figure below:

After the MRP execution, you are observing the following symptoms:

 

  1. Only the first planned order generated by MRP is correctly schedule and, for all the other orders, the tab 'lead time scheduling' is not created.
  2. Planned orders created by MRP are no longer generating capacity requirements and they are not displayed on capacity leveling or capacity evaluation transactions, such as CM21, CM25 or CM01.
  3. If you try to manually schedule one of these planned orders on transaction MD12, the tab 'lead time scheduling' is correctly created without any kind of problems.

 

 

This is a side-effect of note 2131199, which was created to improve the performance of the planned orders lead-time scheduling. This note was delivered on support package SAPKH61708 and, after the implementation of this note, you may observe the described symptoms.

 

In order to avoid this issue on your system, you must implement the following note:

If this not is not relevant for you and the planned orders are still not scheduled correctly, I suggest you to check the work center and routing settings, according to the documents below:

Hi Experts,

 

I am facing issue in CM01 related to calculation of requirement hours against the planned orders. I enter PIR in weekly format for one month & run mrp with lead time scheduling, it generated four planned orders as per the week. But after this when checking the capacity requirement in CM01 it only displays the requirement hours of the first week planned order or 1st planned orders. I want the requirement to be shown for all the four planned orders in CM01. Can you please help on this issue.

 

I have maintain the required setting in OPU5 for selection id as 04.Please find the attached images for MD04 & CM01 screenshot.Capture4.PNG

Component consumption from WM - MFBF processing

Hi

 

We are using planned orders, and using MFBF carrying out the postings. We have control cycles set up, one of the components is WM managed and the requirement is to consume it from a specific storage type/bin with a WM movement. 

 

In the control cycle for the component SKU, the WM storage type and bin and material staging 3 are assigned.  We set up WM picking strategies against 261 movement to create a TR and a TO to pick the component from a WM bin to 914-Dynamic storage bin.

 

However, when we do the posting, the component is consumed from the Stype/Bin in the control cycle, with no WM movement. The quantity is simply updated in the bin and the material document WM data shows the WM movement type with Stype/Bin from the control cycle. No TR/TO created. 

 

If I remove the stype/bin from the control cycle, then the desired WM picking to 914 works ok. I want to keep the stype/bin in the control cycle, because this is controlling which batch/qty to post depending on what is in this bin, but at the same time I want to achieve the WM picking movement to 914.

 

Any idea how to achieve this?

Auto selection of Kanban container scan

Please refer to attached photo. We have a Kanban control cycle with 6 containers for same material. Due to various constraints, customer does not want to set up each box on its own control cycle. The Kanban card has full/empty barcodes for the 6 container IDs.

 

Now let's say container #5 and container #6 have been scanned empty, and two new boxes are being replenished into those containers. Containers 1-4 are Full, but material handler doesn't know which box corresponds to the the container. Is there any way for SAP to direct the handler to scan containers 5 and 6 to Full? At the moment, he'd have to start scanning container 1 and work his way up to container 5 before he gets a successful Full scan -- not terribly efficient!

 

I'm thinking I can enhance PKRFBC for the RF mobile to display the next empty container ID, or is there any standard approach?

How do we access browser based PI sheet?

Is it accessed thru SAP or do we have some interface?

I am trying to configure PI sheet... I can see Browser based PI sheet in process order but don't know from where do we access browser based PI sheet?

 

What is the difference in broser based PI sheet and ABAP based PI sheet?

 

Do we have a TCODE or is it accessed in some other way?
