copying forecast to MRP for MRP Type VM

Hi,

 

we are trying to set up automatic ROP planning (MRP Type VM) and this is what I have set up so far

 

MRP Parameters with the MRP Type and the forecasting tab with the forecast generated based on consumption values. If my understanding is right, The next step would be to copy the forecast for the MRP to recognize it as a requirement. I am trying to do it thru MD70 by giving the Material #, Plant etc and the output indicates it is not transferred. I checked the Stock/Req list also and there is no demand created for that material. I am not sure what I am missing? Can anybody please guide me

Backflush Issue, some quantities did not consume

We have an issue where quantities for some of our materials don't have material usage consumption. We have posting for those quantities but backflush did not consume them. We found out that the qty which are not backflush are present in table S225(Goods receipts: repetitive manufacturing) but they are not present in table S226(Material usage: repetitive manufacturing). How can we solve this?

MRP elements (Requirements) for LTP

Hi All,

 

Could you please let me know the MRP elements (Requirements only) that are considered for the long term planning? My requirement is that stock transport order (MRP element Ord.DS) should be displayed on the MS04 screen and it should be considered during the LTP MRP run. To be specific, stock transport order should consume the PIR’s as per the consumption mode while running MS02.

 

For some reasons, I don’t see the MRP element Ord.DS in MS04 screen. Is it a standard behavior? If yes, is it possible to have the Ord.DS elements considered as requirements during the simulative MRP run?

SAP Labs Latin America is located in São Leopoldo, a city in the south of Brazil. In April 1st, this SAP Labs hosted the SAP Inside Track 2016, an event with more than 100 SAP customers, partners, employees and IT professionals. We had more than 15 presentations and the hot topic was S/4 HANA.

CM21/CM25 Dispatching While Honoring Capacity

Hello,

 

We have been experimenting with the CM21/CM25 screens and have run into a road block.      In a situation when there is more demand than the available capacity - we are unable to get the system to recognize the capacity constraints and move the remaining work to the following day so that it is completed. 

 

As it stands today, the hours are scheduled on the proper work center - though we are using finite scheduling, but when the orders are dispatched, it ignores avaiable capacity and over schedules the capacity for more than it is capable of handling in one day.

 

We have tried several different strategies and profiles, yet nothing seems to give us what we are looking for.

 

We don't have the APO module, nor have the SCN module as well.

 

We are trying to accomplish this via Standard SAP if possible.

 

 

We have properly setup the work center to allow 23 hours of work per day.

 

The closest we have gotten is dispatching a schedule that spreads the hours out too thin without maximizing capacity.    If the workcenter is available 23 hours/day - and there is more work scheduled than available - we desire the dispatching to fill as many of those 23 hours as possible and move the remaining hours to the next day when necessary.

 

 

Thus far we have not been successful.

 

 

Please advise any strategies we may employ.

Firmed Planned order on LTP

Hi,

 

For some reasons, I cannot see firmed planned order/normal planned order in MS04 transaction even though I have firm planned order option ticked in the planning scenario. What could be the reason? My requirement is to display MRP element PLOREL in MS04.

Long term planning orders not generating

Hi,

We need to generate planning results from LTP and have been using this for few years now (last used Nov 2015), but we are not able to generate the orders today.

Surprisingly this works fine in our quality system, but not in production.

We have verified the planning version, scenario's, reloaded the planned independent requirements, re released the planning file entries and ran single item, multi level or ltp for whole plant. Still no luck.

I referred to this post below to see if it was the number ranges, but that seems to be correct.

Could you point me to what other settings could have gone wrong. I am on the business side, but can work with my IT team to checks configurations.

Summarized Capacity Data in Planning Table

Is it possible in MF50 planning table to use a work center hierarchy to see summarized capacity planning data?

 

In the 'complete capacity data' section of the planning table, I can see required and available capacity for both work centers in my hierarchy, but there is no row for summarized data to include both. Is there a way to add such a row?

 

For example:

CURRENT ROWS:

 

WRCTR1 Production (%)   20

Required (H)                      10

Available (H)                      50

WRCTR2 Production (%)   60

Required (H)                      15

Available (H)                      25     

 

NEW ROWS:

 

TOTAL Production (%)       34

Where use report for all material in BOM

Dear All,

 

 

Need advise on what Tcode i can use to generete report directly that show where use for of each material in a bom list.

Currently i am check where use for each material in BOM one by one using CS15 .

As i use ZCLCS15 , it able to show all part list in BOM but it show only certain where use for each material instead all where use for all material.

Hi,

I need ATP check in planned orders to work like ATP check in process orders.

I mean to confirm full available quantity of each component even another component is not fully available.

Is this change of ATP check of planned orders possible?

 

Example: we have the following available quantity:

Import and launch capacity leveling data from a legacy system

Hi,

 

We are facing a situation with our customer where I would need your help.

 

This process is as follow:

 

Sales orders are created in SAP.

MPS is triggered manually, creating planned order with capacity requirements.

These requirements and dates (operations and order) are extracted from SAP to an external (company built) capacity analysing tool.

From this tool we will receive a list of orders/operations with new dates and possibly new duration.

We would like to import these changes in SAP as we would have done it with transaction CM31. I've seen the exit CY190001 which can be used when running it.

 

Does anyone think this is possible? how? Maybe by means of CM40?

 

No way to use APO.

Operations dependencies on Routing

Hi there,

 

we actualy set a routing (CA01) with:

 

0010 Operation A

0020 Quality Control

0030 Operation B

 

We confirm operations Thru CO11N.

 

Our goal is to create a dependency so we cant confirm operation 0030 unless we previously confirm Operation 0020 (Knowing that operation 0020 is a quality control).

 

Is there a way to do so?

Copying Alternate Sequences Containing Data from Standard Sequence

Hi,

 

The facility I work at produces rubber parts. We have many groups of identical machines. The only difference between the machines is the work center name. Currently we have our SAP system routing all planned orders to a generic, fictional press group (Press All) in order to accumulate backlog holistically. When it's time to create the production order, we simply update the work center in the operation list. The problem with doing this is there wont ever be a production version created that associates with the real press. I've identified that in order to get production version, we'll need to create alternate sequences at the molding operation. So here's the question. How do I create alternate sequences for the real presses, Press 1, Press 2, and Press 3, that copies the data inputs from the standard, generic sequence? If we have to create each alternate sequence from scratch, this process will take countless hours and will risk a lot of human error.

 

  • Press All (fictional, holds all planned orders until production order conversion)
    • Press 1 (real, need an alternate sequence at operation 50)
    • Press 2 (real, need an alternate sequence at operation 50)
    • Press 3 (real, need an alternate sequence at operation 50)

SOP Flexible planning ratio units.

Hello everyone,

 

I want to know if there is possible to create an infostrucute with ratios in different units.  I´ve create the infostructure for planning with trx MC93/MC94 but the unit is ***.  The fileds in the structure are Z fields not linked to another standard field.  I need to define some ratios as hours, others as percentage and others as quantitys.

 

Hope you can help me.

Operation Base Quantity Change in Routing (different value for different routing)

Hi,

 

After searching for hours, i found many threads on how we can change task list, work center, control key etc, and also found how we can change operation base quantity if its same for all the code (ie only one value),

 

But my requirement is we have some 10K routing and we need to change operation base quantity of all at mass but the catch here is we have different Base quantity for individual routing,

 

I tried changing them by Tcode CA85N for 2 code, i gave material code as input in selecting criteria and in value field i gave range like say 150, 200,400,400 in base quantity field

 

when i did mass change, all the code routing base value was updated with smallest value ie 150, i know the problem as system cant map code with base quantity in this case, but i just tried for testing,

 

So it will be highly appreciated if can get some suggestion on how we can achieve it?

Materials uploading in equipment BOM

Hello to all,

 

I want to upload the newly created spare parts materials in the equipment BOMs in mass.Already there were materials existed in BOMs.

But deletion flag has been set by the client for these materials and new material codes has created by them. But they don,t know, how to upload these materials. There are such 10000 materials to be uploaded.

 

Please guide.
