problem in the classification of the products

Hi every body

look at this please: we have two class for finish products : class type (Z01) that fill up in the master data of materials

and class type (023) that fill up in the confirmation of products (some information in class type 023 come from class type Z01)

Now I explain our problem : in the some products we change the class type Z01 (Cass per pallet in this example changed from 80 cs to 60 cs)

but when we confirm the products , last information come from Z01 to class 023

How to classify operations of task list (check list) in maintenance order sap pm

Dear Friends,



IN Preventive management check list for one Particular machinery, my client need in that task list of operations list we need to differentiate as mechanical and electrical.

and recommended action result should automatically capture at the time of confirmation of each operation in maintenance order the results like OK/not OK and max temperature like that.


I'm new to SAP PM so plz give elaborate solution that i can understand

MRP to generate procurement proposal

Hi,

1.PART-XYZ is bought out

2.PART-XYZ is consumed to have PART-A

3.PART A transferred to plant 1001 for processing

4.After processing PART A converted to PART B

5.PART B transferred to Plant 1002

6.PART B consumed in Final assembly

 

when I run MRP for final assembly in 1002 the procurement proposal should generate for PART XYZ,

please let me know the settings require,

VSF reqs Splitting

Dear all,

 

In material master, in MRP3 screen, there is the splitting indicator filed (MARC-AUFTL), which is used to split forecast requirements to individual elements (ie monthly, weekly, etc). I have a scenario, where i transfer material forecast to demand management as VSF rewuirements. Is there any way of having the same split in this kind of requirements (VSF)? Is using a weekly lot-size option doing the trick (I will not have access to a system until Monday, so i can not try it out until then).?

MS07 list based on the LTP scenario only

Good afternoon.

 

Sometime ago I posted questions about having a collective MS07 list, which will be able to display the MS04 list for all materials that participate on a scenario (and not based on MRP controller etc as the standard MS07 list is). Finally, my colleague Mr. Angellos Charalambous derived a solution which is based on the principle of collecting the materials that have planned orders creaed in PLAF and are connected to the specific scenario.

 

Using this as a base, my other colleague, Mr. Marios Golandas has derived the solution of exporting the material of this scenario only. Therefore, we ended up with the code which you can find attached in the ZTEST document. When running this program, if you check the checkboc "With planned orders only" the program will return all materials that belong to this scenario and have planned orders. If this checkbox is unchecked, then the program displays all materials, no matter if they belong to this scenario or not.

 

In the second attached document (ZTEST_NEW), we have made an attempt to capture the materials of an LTP scenario regardless if they have planned orders or not. But, unfortunatelly, we miss something and it seems that it does not work. If you have any suggestions on how to correct the code, please advise.

ECM on production version

Dear expert ;

 

My customer want to trace the change in production version, I mean if we change the alternative bom or a group counter in a specific production version.

I searched , I dont find a way specially that no change number field in C223, So i think to make the change about production version through material master change MM02, my issue is to make the change number mandatory to force the change using a change number and this only for some users.

otherwise I ask if there is an object witch prevent changing material without change number something like the object C_STUE_NOH for the bom change .

any idea ?

Expiry date Production Batch

Dear sir,

At present expiry date for a production batch is maintained as Date of manufacturing + Total shelf life. For example if the date of manufacturing is 02/2016, shelf life is 24 month, expiry date 02/2018 but  we require the expiry date as 01/2018. ie manufacturing date + shelf life - 1.

 

Please provide the procedure for the same

Material Description - COOIS

Hi;

 

In our system, there are 2 production order types, one for rework and one for standard production order.

 

For rework production orders we use CO07 and reference operation set.

 

But in COOIS there is no details for material description which filled at the time of order creation. Pleases see the screen.

 

 

Refer the order type configuration.

 

 

 

Could you please explain the reason and what should do to overcome this issue..

Release date column permanently displayed in MD04

Good morning.

 

In MD04, you can display Release Date column and Opening Date column by draging (they are located next to "MRP element" column, you just have to put your cursor on the vertical separator until the cursor displays two lines and then drag on the right). However, this setting is not permanent; if i go out of MD04 transaction and come back in again, this column has dissapeared. Has anyone any idea of how i can make this column displayed permanently?

General extra material's requirement when MRP

Hi All,

 

    I meet a problem in our company.  We usually create PIR for our prodcut A,  then run mrp general the PR, PR-->PO, PO GR come to stock, finially SO(product A) PGI to consume the stock and deduct the PIR.  But now we want to general B material requirement at the same time when MRP for product A,  we need to buy A and B at the same time. At last we will 311 transfer B to the special location and consume B by our special program.  My question is :   how to general B requirement at the same time when run MRP for A ?  

    I have 2 methods:  1) create another phantom material C = B+A    ===> This is a little complex, and how to set and deduct PIR ? We don't want to add more new materials;   2) use enhancement/BAdi to create B on the PO when create/change A PO    ===> When first we only have PIR on A, we don't know B  requirement at that time.

    Do you have more better solution?  Thanks!

How to make MRP to take into account delivery time from info record without plant

Hi experts!!

 

From transaction omdt we have marked  flag "Sched: Info/Agrmt" for each MRP group in a certain plant. This flag is marked also al plant level.

 

I have got a material with a unique supplier in its source list ( in the plant in which flags are marked) and 100% cuota arrengement for this supplier. The info record defined for the supplier has no plant.

When MRP is executed in the cited plant, it creates a PR -> Price is read from the info record without plant whereas delivery time is not read from info record without plant; it is read from material master.

Is it possible to change this behavieur?

Resource selection

Dear Experts,

 

I am in PPPI MTS environment and below is my scenario;

 

Finished Products F1 and F2 have same semi finished product SF.

Production of SF is done at various resources depends upon product specification (only shape of product is diff), so product SF can be produced on resource R1, R2 or R3.

 

Now if I want to produce F1 and F2 at same time, as per current configuration all my demand goes to SF with first master recipe available and hence only at one resource (my production versions have similar lot sizes as all resources have similar capacity).

,

Requirement -

My demand for SF should get distributed to different resources like R1 and R2 as per F1 and F2. as it currently goes to only first available production version, and I don't want to use manual selection of production version as data is very large.

 

Need your expert comments on this.

how to manipulate BOM Read for Planned Orders

Wrong Calculation of rescheduling date in MD04

Good afternoon.

 

I have noticed the following strange behavior of the system when i run MD04 for some materials. In the first screen, you see that MRP suggests i reschedule in my proposal at 21/06/2016, whereas in the second screen it suggests 1/6/2016. I assume this happens because it takes as rescheduling date the first date inventory becomes negative. In the first case, this happens when safety stock is subtracted at 21/06/2016 (although there is a VSF requirement at 1/06/2016), whereas in the second case this happens at 1/6/2016 (if you also calculate the PO from the 5th month).

 

From what i understand, the problem is caused because the second line in MD04 is Safety Stock. Safety stock is always displayed in today's date (no matter if i have a requirement with earlier date), therefore, if this happens to be the first date inventory becomes negative, then the system suggests this date as rescheduling date. Any Idea of how to overcome this?

Assessment stock by material group

Hi gurus!

 

Thanks in advance for help me...

 

I have one requirement that i don't know how i can resolve it.

 

The key user wants show a report of material assessment by group of material and cross-plant. The transaction MD48 isn't apropriate to analyze because it shows only one material. He needs show the same info but by material group (or similar). Are there a transaction or way to shows this info?.

Enter Valuation type for assy material- MFBF

Hi,

 

My material is Split valuated & batch managed. While doing REM confirmation through t.code MFBF system asks for valuation  type for which there is no any dialog box to enter. Kindly guide me to enter valuation.

Material Master - Mixed MRP Indicator for KMAT

Hello Team,

 

I am creating KMAT configurable material. And I am using the strategy group 11 - gross requirements planning (I have changed the standard setting of requirement class '030' in OVZG with "Configuration Mandatory").

 

Q1: If I change the requirement class '030' with configuration mandatory, will it work similar to strategy group 25? (Due to business reasons I can not change the strategy group from 11 to 25 in material master)

 

Q2: Since I am using strategy group 11 for my KMAT material, I need to enter the Mixed MRP Indicator as "2 - Gross Requirements Planning". But in material master screen, the field "Mixed MRP Indicator" is NOT visible. Is for KMAT materials, "Mixed MRP Indicator" not required to be maintained?
