Dear PP gurus,
Could you please help me to find out a solution to manage the following scenario through Standard :
I want to track a subcontractor activity without using the standard subcontracting process (Production order -> PR -> PO,...). In fact, The materials are sent directly to subcontractor, from the vendor. And for us, it is considered as consignment stock.
Here is the process flow :
Purchasing of goods -> Transport to subcontractor -> Production activity at subcontractor site (we want to track all his production activity) -> Goods receipt in consignment stock.
I'm wondering if it is possible to create a production order in our plant, but for consigned materials, for the input as for the output. So the production order consumes consigned materials and produce consigned materials. The work center is external.
Could you please provide some ideas ?
